Get off your bumbo!

For me, the jury is still out on gift cards from every store you can shake a stick at. Needless to say, it has allowed us to purchase things that upon first glance at the price tag or back of the box would have made us turn the other direction. Case in point, the Bumbo! Not entirely clear why the marketers of this product chose an elephant to adorn this plastic foam contraption, but our baby freakin' loves it! She sits in it while I make breakfast in the morning, Mama Froglegs can set her down in it for a few minutes while she runs the neighborhood association; hell she practically begs to be put in it! And while this petroleum based neon nightmare warns against the usual "don't leave child unattended; may not prevent release in the event of vigorous movement; etc.", I think it should be marketed as the next one eyed babysitter (television)! While we at ypsipopbomb would never use our forum to endorse a mass marketed product like the bumbo, good luck finding something you can stick our four month old in and make her this happy!
