Breakfast with Uncle Jon

Do you remember the photo of Addy feeding breakfast cereal to her little wooden doll? Well, when we finally actually capture a picture of her feeding Uncle Jon we'll be sure to post it. Probably a month ago now Addy moved this smiling picture of Uncle Jon from our living room table to her little kitchen table. It's been sitting there ever since. She has been loving giving Uncle Jon kisses and really examining this photo of her uncle. For a few mornings now she has been very concerned about his diet offering him her breakfast. It goes something like this

"Eat?" Addy places spoonful of cereal or breakfast sandwich in front of Uncle Jon's mouth.
"Eat," she holds the food steady and stubbornly.
"Eat? No?" Addy eats the food herself but then tries again.

It is the sweetest thing. I could have botched up the story a bit as I heard it second hand from Jason who has been getting up with our early bird when he is getting ready for work, giving me a few minutes of extra sleep. If it needs correcting I'm sure he'll do it.

In the meantime we can't wait to share this story with Jon who is serving his last month or so in Iraq.
