Elliott's Word =Translation
nono = guitar (sidenote, if you visit please don't try to play with Elliott's guitar. We are working with him on sharing it, but it's a treasured item and he may bite or at least scream and hit you if you pick it up! Oh wait, he's like that with all his toys right now. That's right, he's two.)
elmo = any animated character, although Dora has recently been given her own identity as "dodo"
side = please may I nurse on the other side mama (or at least I'd like to think that's what he means to say)
Montmer= monster. Addy has been on a big "there are monsters in the bathroom" or in any dark room kick and so Elliott has joined in!
Mama. Papa. Adda. My = as in the people in our family
Mine = MINE!
Home = as in "we're home" as we pull into the driveway or as in "Ho o ome" the song by Edward Sharpe to which our kids love to dance and sing.
Oh, Oh, Oh = The mosquito song by Joe Reilly. Elliott will play his guitar, tap his foot, and sing "Oh, Oh, Oh" over and over and over
