Adeline has been oh-so amazing to have in our lives. She mostly breastfeeds, sleeps, and in rare moments lets loose a terradactyl-like scream that make you duck and cover. All of these behaviors lead us to believe she is healthy and content, but there have been others that make us wonder if we're meeting all of her needs. First Kim's neck, then my finger... I'm starting to wonder if we can really give her what she wants. Plus the whole, sleeping all day up all night thing strikes us as odd. Everyone else says thats normal for babies. What do we know?

you guys are such troopers. i hear the sleeping really doesn't improve for at least a year... but what do i know?
otherwise, i was wondering if she didn't have some recessive vampire gene going on... looks to me like she's looking for a good nutritional package out of kim's neck.
We didn't want to come out and say it, but we're wondering if a good old fashion blood meal will send her to sleepy land.
She'll figure out the sleeping thing- probably just a little mixed up, it happens. I'm sure she'll develop a more normal sleep pattern over the next month :-)
What a beauty she is!!!!

Sounds like it's time to make friends with your friendly neighborhood Catholic church. Good thing we've got one handy. Maybe they can hook you up with some holy water to have on hand in case of emergency?
As far as I've heard, infants' sleep schedules are just completely unpredictable, and it's just a matter of coping. (Why don't we have kids yet? Right.) She might slip into a more regular schedule in a month or two; maybe in a year or so. Fun.
