how we talk to our children

Some day I'll have the opportunity to say the word scrotum when talking to Addy and I'm just going to say it! And for that matter I'm going to say all those other shameful, off color words like vulva, bowel movement, or hemorrhoid! Wanna know why...cause it's the right word to use. How do we expect folks to make healthy, rational, and responsible decisions when they're using language that obfuscates or confusions the true nature of the situation. I just know that I'm going to climb the walls some day if I hear something like, "Why to boys have weewees and girls have hoohoo?".
