Eating

Addy has been an eating machine this summer. We pulled my (kim's) old kid sized table out from my dad's basement and parked it in our dining room. It quickly became Addy's favorite dining spot, second only to eating on our laps! We're thankful that she's loving to eat her veggies, especially greens. And we've found a new recipe from our farm share folks for making kale chips. Addy devoured almost the entire batch, leaving only remnants for us. Thank goodness. Who knows how long this eating fury will last, but it feels so good that she gets excited about picking produce from our garden (she loves sun gold tomatoes), making smoothies, and eating greens. And, working in the kitchen has gotten a bit easier as Addy enjoys her own mixing and stirring and chopping (thanks to velcro veggies, bread and fruit and a wooden knife) right along with us!
