the crawling adventures begin

He's been practicing, refining his mobility for the last month now beginning with rotating on his tummy, scooching, army crawling, sitting up-laying back down-sitting up repeat, hands and knees-belly flop-hands and knees-belly flop, and just yesterday when I put Elliott down he had become a full fledged crawler! He's still working pretty hard at it, but the adventures with a moving baby begin. Already we see how we have to re-baby proof the house but this time we have Addy's little toys to contend with! Elliott is also a fan of shoes and other people's feet. If there's a pair of shoes in sight he'll bee line it for the tasty treats. He began bending himself in half to chew on his clean little cute toes, but has moved on to bigger, dirtier feet and shoes!

What else has 7 1/2 month old Elliott been up to?

Eating (and he's very demanding about it. I can't wait for him to learn the sign for 'more'. Currently he just screams and in general I have a hard time keeping up with him!)
Charming passersby with his smile
Babbling
Taking baths in the bathtub sans little baby chair
Rollicking around with his big sis (well kind of, Addy is stretching the limits of horsing around with him already!)
Grabbing for everything
Putting anything and everything in his mouth
Grunting and groaning when he's not happy
Studying toys or other objects (like spoons)

and

taking rides with big sis in the double jogger/bike trailer. Oh, how sweet it is to watch them sitting so snugly together. The first ride Elliott fell asleep on Addy's shoulder and she was so kind and patient about it. I was a bit worried she'd have a hard time with it. She kept updating me on how Elliott was doing. So sweet. The next time Addy fell asleep first and Elliott wrapped his hand around hers so sweetly. He spent at least ten minutes just rubbing and holding her hand until he fell asleep. I am loving watching their relationship unfold in this way.
