Elliott

He's a total lounger. (one of the last photos with his cho0chee. we lost the last one, actually ended up finding it a few days later, but we were already grieving the loss and working to move on from the chooch!)

Enjoying a fruity snack at Earthwork Family Weekend.

Touch a truck. Sitting in the fy figh truck.

Missing his cousins, Alla and MyMy.

On the big swing.

Elliott is determined, focused, yet easy going and laid back. He's a ham, and very loyal. He'll snatch something right out your hands if he thinks it belongs to his sister or a friend or his parents. He's also very interested in keeping things in order, when it works for him. And there is an order whether others are aware of it or not. Beware of the hands or the teeth, these behaviors have returned though not has aggressively as before and now some of his younger friends have turned 2 and he's on the receiving end of some of the physical acts of the average toddler. His language has exploded. Here are some of my favorites:

momo sy sy = motorcycle
Dog Dog = dog
Adda= Addy
Alla= Ollie
My My = Maya
Pen Pen Vane Vane= Pennsylvania
ZeZe = Zia Pam
Daadi= dad (formerly Papa)
Baad Gyee = Bad guy (as in you or something is a bad guy for doing or being something Elliott does not like. For example, "Bedtime, baad gyee" "Adda, bad gyee"
big unna dog = big under dog on the swing
tar = guitar
Baby cheese = baby bell cheese
fy fight = fire engine, fire fighter
helmoot = helmut

And he is in a "Whyeee?" phase. Every conversation includes at least one "Whyeee?"
Oh he is fiery and oh so sweet.

with his "tar"

At one point he was turning anything into a firefighter costume. In this pic he's wearing a diaper as a mask. One day he was awfully quiet upstairs, thankfully I went up to check on him when I did. He had a dvd case over his head, if can imagine the tiny space between the clear plastic and the black plastic where the dvd paper cover usually lives wrapped tightly around E's head. Oy! Why are they always trying to off themselves?

Elliott and his friend, Fe, with their babies (trucks from the sandbox)

On another occasion E emptied my underwear drawer onto his head one article at a time.
