On loan to us for a while is a mini piano that our kids are loving. That paired with the homemade violin (pix above) Jason made for Addy, and the guitar Elliott got for Christmas, has made for some sweet duets and family band nights. Walking by on any night before bed one might find our family dancing, singing, and playing our homemade instruments in the living room! During the day Addy and Elliott enjoy jamming together. Addy has been inspired by her cousins, Santino, Domenica, and Luciano, who all play string instruments and Elliott has always been drawn to the guitar, well that and vacuums. Where ever we go he seeks these two items out. Not sure if the music interest will stick, but I always wish I had played an instrument as a kid, so here's my first real opportunity to live vicariously through my kids!
